day 12

today we was on second life and we saw a guest speaker who showed us how to make an effective talk show and how to find guest speakers. she said that well find most of our guest speakers through global kids contacts but i don't know if ill find anyone i want. also we learned how to make objects and link them together in second life which was cool and i learned how to edit scripts to change the way items look. we also did an interview of random people around the building about our topic which was waste and recycling (e-waste) and not a lot of people was familiar about the term but did do some humanitarian acts without noticing or for a different cause

day 11

today we went on second life and saw a talk show on second life it was very boring but we also learned how to build stuff and i think that's a very useful too in second life because now i can make whatever i want and put what ever i want on it like a picture or a website.

day 10

today we went to to volunteer at Fort Greene park and helped cleaned it up with Quicksilver and Stoked to serve project and we had to rake leafs in the middle of the summer. they told me it was that there type of trees the leafs fall off twice a year to protect its self from contamination so they were falling in the summer and fall. we raked 43 bags of leafs ranging from 5- 28lbs and at the end we got free stuff.

day 9

today we went to high line park and i saw rick fox!! and some other lady who i didn't know. i also saw that the park was made of a old railroad track and they put a bunch of tracks that looked really kewl. we also had to ask some people random question about the park some people ignored me while 2 old ladies who were both tourist. also today on second life we did a scavenger hunt and i came in second place and i better get a runner up prize Juan.

day 8

today was kinda fun we watch the inconvenient truth by Al Gore who is a environmental activist and he made a documentary of his findings about global warming and climate change. we also went further into the talk show project and we made a mind map and saw a virtual talk show set in second life and it looked OK but we also learned that when you click the fruit it changes colors to signal the gues to change topic.

day 7

today was fun because even tho we dident go anywhere i still had alot of fun in second life because i figured out how to change my avater's aperence effectivly like giving him a sword or making him a racoon but i deleted my head some how and now i dont know how to get it back :(

we also had to find articles about climte justice and we finally started setting up groups for the talk show and my group topic is waste and recycling.

day 6

today with lts was un because we went to a public access channel called manhattan nebhorhood network and we learned about how camera equipment was used we also saw a live pretend interview with some o our friends and with the youth with MMN. it was pretty funny watching your friends try o make a real talk show. and the best part was the coffee machine that made late coffee hot chocolate and more and it even added flavoring like hazelnut and french vanilla.
